Power of attorney forms is used for various purposes. This document gives the attorney the power to legally take any necessary action on your property or personal needs when the client is incapacitated. However, power of attorney forms come in two types. One applies when the client is alive, while the other comes into effect when the client passes on. This is commonly known as a will.

Power of attorney forms for property gives the attorney the authority to manage the client’s property, from collecting payments to carrying out necessary duties that keep the business or property running. A client may use this form when he is not in the capacity to manage the property as the owner.
